Sonia Churova is an artist with a clearly pronounced hand. The young artist is working in the field of sculpture and ceramic. As well as that she makes great illustrations for children, skillfully does, presentation drawings and classic lithography. Constantly she is invated to take part in big international graphic exhibitions such as ; Krakow, Cairo, Chamalier, Kanagawa, Bitolia, Seoul, etc. In the summer of 2003 Mrs Churova was a special guest to the Art plainair in Blag, Romania. Sonia's plastics are figurative and if some follow the plastic form of a body frozen in a moment of flight or a leap, so in others the formula is made to the decimal point. Even in Sonia's decimal point the figurative reminds with itself the antropomorphic or zoömorphic construction. Her works simply deny the formlessness. Even those works done in combined technique of Chamote and Bronze impress with its craftsmanship and sinthesis. The artist impresses us with her unbridled deformation, which she masters with a fabulous virtuosity. Every single plastic of hers wants its own time for reflection from the onlooker.
